Quiz Caster is a free web game, currently in early ("pre-alpha") development. These terms are an agreement between you and the team behind Quiz Caster ("we", "us"). By using the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

Who can use Quiz Caster

Quiz Caster is open to learners of all ages and is also made to be friendly for children. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the game only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. Parents and guardians are responsible for a child's use of the game.

The game

• Quiz Caster is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
• It is an early build. Features may change, be added, break, or be removed at any time, and progress saved on your device may be reset between updates.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the game (in whole or in part) at any time without notice.

Acceptable use

When using Quiz Caster, you agree not to:

• Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the game or its systems;
• Use the game to break the law or to harm, harass, or infringe the rights of others;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the game except as allowed by law;
• Submit content (for example, through feedback or study sets) that is unlawful, harmful, or violates someone else's rights.

Content you create

Quiz Caster lets you create or import study sets. You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to use it. You keep ownership of content you create. You grant us permission to store and process that content as needed to operate the game, including - when you choose to share a study set - making that set available to other players through share or challenge links. Do not include personal or sensitive information in study sets or feedback.

Our intellectual property

The game and everything in it that we provide - including the Quiz Caster name, logo, artwork, audio, characters, and code - belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to play the game for personal use.

No warranty

Quiz Caster is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements or produce particular learning outcomes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the game. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the game after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the U.S. state in which the operator of Quiz Caster is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where local law gives you, or a child you are responsible for, rights that cannot be waived, nothing here limits them.
